Snapshot Shaders 2 is the evolution of my post processing asset pack, bringing powerful new features and effects, masking on a per-layer basis, and a total overhaul for each effect from the first asset pack.

✨ Features
The original Snapshot Shaders Pro came with dozens of effects you could seamlessly add to your games, whether you needed utility effects like blur, film bars, or greyscale and sepia tone, or highly stylized shaders such as glitches, oil paintings, or retro consoles.
Most of those effects are back, and they’re better than ever. Every effect has been reworked from the ground up to work more efficiently or with more features, and there are brand new effects like Thermal and Dot Matrix to keep things fresh. All effects work seamlessly with the new layer-masking functionality and with Unity 6, many of the effects can be batched with other passes for a more optimized system.
Plus, owners of Snapshot Shaders Pro on the Unity Asset Store can upgrade to this package for a reduced cost!
Snapshot Shaders 2 is designed mainly for PC game usage. While some effects may work in VR or on mobile, they might be quite expensive (expecially on standalone VR), so I recommend using them sparingly on these platforms.
📦 Stack effects using URP volumes
Add each effect to a URP volume profile, tweak the settings, and watch your game come to life! Overlay effects onto each other to creating enthralling visuals, or use individual effects to keep things simple.
🎭 Layer-based masks
Restrict effects to certain layers with masks: per-effect using a local mask, or per-volume using global masks, which can be shared between all your effects for efficiency.
🛠️ A plethora of options
All effects come with a ton of settings, making each one highly flexible. If you’re coming from the original Snapshot Shaders Pro, you’ll probably find a new twist on your old favorites.
